Wolfgang the guide was amazing!
The day was very hot,but we were always in the shade.The english tour was full of infos,but never boring,I had lot of fun and the time flied.

Took the free Part2: Jewish traces and Hilter’s Vienna led by Christine and it was excellent. She was informative, organized, and one of the best tours I’ve been on. It was very hot day and Christine made sure we had shade, water breaks, and a few laughs despite the horrible topic. I highly recommend Christine and this tour. Note: you don’t need to take part 1 in order to sign up for part 2.

We had the ‘experience of Wien’ free tour with Florian and I can tell that it was one of the best guided tours we have ever had. Florian is an amazing guide, he’s very knowledgeable, has a keen interest in history, and, most importantly, has a great sense of humor, which makes it easier to take in the information during the tour. We enjoyed a great evening walk in Vienna with our guide Moritz. The light was great on all the historical buildings. The stories told by Moritz were great to listen to. Each part ending with a cliffhanger for the next stop. The speed of the walk was nice and calm. Really recommend this walking tour.

Moritz is an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. He answered some my questions with great detail and was really interested in talking about the complexity of the topic. He gave us great suggestions for refreshments nearby that would be quiet and not touristy after our tour. I'd book a tour with Moritz again if I could.

If you want to learn about Jewish history in Europe you have to book this tour! Anna's english Tour "Jüdische Spuren und Hitlers Wien" was very good ! She gave a detailed picture on the bigger historical context and on Jewish persecution not only during WWII, but further back.

Clemens astounded us with his knowledge! He is not only an amazing ambassador for Vienna, but an excellent historian. His initial overview was very helpful as it set the stage for what was to come. He referenced back to prior information as appropriate to refresh our memory and tie things together. His delivery was very conversational; it was obvious he had not memorized a script. As people who have taken countless walking tours, including many on Jewish history and World War we can’t recommend Clemens’ tour highly enough. It was, without a doubt, the best tour we’ve ever been on. Clemens explained the history of Vienna’s Jewish community and the Nazi era in a way that was incredibly clear, engaging, and easy to follow. We learned so much, and he kept us completely interested for the entire two hours with his energy, knowledge, and storytelling. He is not only an outstanding guide but also kind, passionate, and genuinely dedicated to helping people understand this important history. We’ve never had a guide explain such complex topics so clearly and thoughtfully. If you’re visiting Vienna, this tour is an absolute must. It was the best tour and Clemens the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

After having such a good free tour experience in Prague, we continued in Vienna with the Vienna part 1 city tour with Rainer and the a Vienna part 2 Jewish traces tour with Jan. They were both really knowledgeable about the city and shared information about Vienna and the past and Vienna today. The first tour gave great context to all of the buildings and architecture around the city! Rainer made learning about the history of the city really enjoyable and was able to answer a lot of questions. The second tour really dove deep into the history from medieval times to the current era. Jan did a really great job highlighting the history and the struggles of the community without shying away from the difficult details but really highlighting the perseverance of the community in the city. These are really important stories to share and I’m so glad we did both of these tours despite it being 91 outside!

We did two tours with ana. The overall tour and the Jewish history tour. Both were really amazing. The first tour she shared a lot of interesting stories and she presented them in a fun yet educational manner. The second tour was more sobering obviously but she filled it with so much information. I took the Jewish walking tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Clemens was a great tour guide. He spoke clearly, conducted the 2 hour tour at a good speed and shared a lot of information and insights.

We recently joined the "Free Tour Vienna – Part 1, Top Highlights" and were fortunate to have Ricky as our guide. From the very beginning, Ricky's passion for Vienna was evident. He seamlessly guided our group through the city's historic center, sharing a wealth of information on Vienna's history, culture, and modern life. His storytelling was both informative and engaging, making the two-hour tour feel like a delightful journey through time. Ricky also provided valuable suggestions on how to spend our time in Vienna, which we found incredibly helpful. His enthusiasm and knowledge truly enhanced our experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this beautiful city. Highly recommended!

The Vienna part 2 - Jewish traces tour with Anna was incredible! The best free walking tour I’ve ever been on. Anna shared so much knowledge on the history and spoke with such passion everyone on the tour was captivated! Anna also gave recommendations for books to read to understand more or museums to visit, and also restaurant recommendations in Vienna at the end of our tour. Highly recommend booking, and I hope you get Anna as your tour guide!

We had a wonderful tour with Trim, he was pleasant, friendly and very funny, the two hours flew by and he was always attentive to all of us in case we had questions, needed something or could help us with any advice or recommendations. In addition, the tour has been very well done, with photographs, curiosities and tips for our stay in the city. The only drawback (due to the dates on which we arrived in Vienna) was not meeting him before. Thanks for everything Trim!!!!

Both parts of their tours are great, full of history, funny moments as well as how the guides deliver and convey the messages of the proudful and more dark moments of the history of Vienna, if you can get both tours with Anita and Lucas then you are on the right path

Tour 2: Wolfgang will step aside from the glamorous Vienna to tell you all about its darker history. While putting it into context he will show you spots that are less touristy but will surely not leave you indifferent. Very respectful while going over sensitive topics, knowledgeable and professional. Super recommended!

I had the best time with Wolfgang (for non germans; it is not Wolf gang it is Wolfgang). He made the walking tour so engaging. Everyone of us were just enjoying his intepretations and were awestruck with the facts.

We found warm chemistry with gentle and perceptive Wolfgang, who was very attuned to our background and tastes, as I communicated to him when setting up the tours. We enjoyed private tours with him on 3 different days: our first day was a general walking tour of old town Vienna, the next day was the Art History Museum and the Hapsburg collections (Kunstkammer), and the third was the Imperial Treasury and the National Library. In each tour, Wolfgang had designed stops that include specific experiences he selected for us based on the input we had given him. He was flexible in adapting the tours to our preferences as we proceeded, sharing interesting anecdotes and historical background at each locale and as we walked from place to place. We felt we made a friend in Vienna with whom we very much enjoyed and learned our tours - and his name is Wolfgang.

Great tour! Our guide, Elena, was very good. She was very knowledgeable, well documented and very nice to listen to.
She also shared loads of good advices to enjoy the city.
The tour was a good introduction to the city historical and cultural background, that's a great way to start a 2-3 day visit in Vienna.
